‘back to normal’ What is normal?

Hi, Who ever you are, still looking for further updates to this journal. My abject apologies.

I said in my last entry, things were ‘back to normal’ and I would be updating this journal on a more frequent timetable, but alas, that dreaded word, to some but not to all, ‘work’ has been the problem.

Being a small company developing into a bigger entity one has to ensure that overheads are kept to a minimum. So instead of employing more operatives to perform the tasks necessary to do the ‘work’ I have become the ‘multi task’ operative, doing all the tasks necessary to complete all the ‘work’.

Today has seen a small decline in ‘work’ so here I am writing. I thought that as we are very near to the Christmas Holiday period I’d write to you all and say a few words to those of you who have either visited this journal, or our website or purchased our product.

I THANK YOU!

Un/Fortunately the ‘Aroma Stress Buster’ Gift Factory ‘worker’ is going to have time away from the dreaded word ‘work’ the factory is going to be closed for the Christmas break from Friday 23rd December 2005 through to Monday the 2nd January 2006 inclusive.

To those of you who do read this journal I wish to share with you a story/joke that I was given many years ago, I use it as an after dinner story, I get a good laugh when I read it out to people, I am sure you will too.

Happy Christmas! Holiday! Chill out!

Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson went on a camping trip. After a good meal and a bottle of wine they lay down for the night and went to sleep.

Some hours later, Holmes awoke and nudges his faithful friend and said “Watson, look up at the sky and tell me what you see”.

Watson replied, “I see millions and millions of stars”.

“What does that tell you?” said Holmes.

Watson pondered for a minute.

“Astronomically, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets.

Astronomically, I observe that Saturn is in Leo.

Horologically, I deduce that the time is approximately a quarter past three.

Theologically, I can see that God is all powerful and that we are small and insignificant.

Meteorologically, I suspect that we will have a beautiful day tomorrow.

What does it tell you? Holmes”

“Watson, you idiot, Someone has stolen our tent”

 Problems, problems, problems!

Hello Folks,

I am sorry if you have been looking at my journal and seeing no updates.

The last time I wrote was 11th Nov, quite a bit too long for most I admit, but I have to start again.

It’s the 1st of December, and I am now almost back to normal.

Computers are a real pain when they are sick and my old one was real sick, now replaced with a bit bigger PC more memory and ram and more updated software, here’s looking (hopefully) to an un-interrupted few years conversing with people from all over the world.

So after my trip to the Houses of Parliament, London, and picking up the Gold Award for environmental best practice from Alan Lamb the famous cricketer. We were then featured in the Oxford Mail and the Witney Gazette, pictures of this happy occasion will be posted soon.

The result of winning the award and our feature in the press has been very encouraging. Our website has been regularly visited and we are now selling to UK customers who use paypal.

My previous posts to this journal have not been forgotten and I will be providing more information on pertinent subjects in the future.

Now that I have a new computer, I am busy developing the business, there is so much to accomplish with one pair of hands.

I’ve been re-writing my business plan and thinking up future ideas on developing the business. I worked out that at present, if the finances were available I could easily employ 20 people, I am doing all the tasks of 20 people to keep my product on the web for all to see.

Now that I have this computer I can operate a bigger printer, I bought an Oki 5400, now this is a transformation in printing, digital LED printing, perfect full colour on thick stock card, a fantastic addition to our equipment for perfect image quality on all newly purchased Aroma Stress Buster.

My day starts at 10am and finishes at 10pm it’s a bit punishing, but I am keeping my immune system functioning properly but consuming a tablespoon of Aloe Vera juice every day.

It tastes disgusting, but a friend who is a Doctor, has done a bit of research on the internet and elsewhere and her findings are very positive. The ingredients found in aloe vera juice, help people who have an immune system that doesn’t always function at best performance. Anything is better than catching the Flue. Aloe Vera is good for inflamed joints too.

So if you have come to my journal tonight and read this, all I can say is that I am now back on the air and looking forward to meeting you. Are any of you using skype?

Nite nite
